Where quality grows naturally
Occupying the western edge of South Australia, the Eyre Peninsula is renowned the world over for the pureness of its environment, and sublime quality of its agriculture and aquaculture exports.
Triangular in shape and roughly 233,000 square kilometres in size, its area is similar to the UK, but with fewer than 57,000 residents, sustains less than 0.1% of that country’s population.
Fresh Eyre Merino Wool©, is situated on the Eyre Peninsula’s remote west coast. The property’s 6,880 hectares span 15 kilometres of coastline, and extend inland by as much as seven kilometres.
Battered by incessant Antarctic Ocean winds, the countryside is stark yet serene, and under the vastness of the coastal sky, breathtakingly beautiful.
A thousand shades of green in winter, uniformly tanned in summer, its gently undulating terrain begins as stony cliff tops and gullies at the shoreline, before softening landward into sandy loam and ultimately, flats of rich, red clay.
